  1. 1970

    Born August 23, 1970

    Troy, New York

    Troy is where it started. A small upstate city, a working family, and a household where curiosity was normal.

  2. 1988

    Community college

    School started to make sense once I was choosing it. This is where the habit of learning on purpose began.

  3. 2003 to 2008

    Residential elevator sales

    Five years selling residential elevators. Smaller projects, more homeowners, more conversations at kitchen tables. It sharpened everything I knew about listening.

Things I've Taught
